Installation

The article describes the installation and removal of the Trust1Connector.

Windows

Installation

If you are running in a shared environment, always make sure the Trust1Connector Proxy is installed before any user installs the Trust1Connector API.

Proxy

Download the package trust1connector-proxy and open it by double-clicking on it.

Accept enable this application to make changes on your device.

Choose 'I accept the agreement' and click Next >.

Read the information and click Next >.

Click Install.

Click Finish. The Proxy Trust1Connector is now installed.

Trust1Connector API

After downloading the executable, open it by double clicking on it and follow the tutorial.

Choose 'I accept the terms in the License Agreement' and click Install.

Click Finish. The Trust1Connector is now installed.

Removal

Trust1Connector API

Uninstalling the Trust1Connector can be done via the apps page in the windows settings.

Proxy

Similar to the Trust1Connector API uninstall;

macOS

Installation

Download the package Trust1Connector.pkg and open it by double-clicking on it.

Double click on Trust1Connector.pkg.

Click Continue.

Click Change Install Location

This step is required because of a bug present in the MacOS PKG installer software. If not done the installer will ask administrative privileges and will install in the Admin domain instead of the user domain

When you see this you need to explicitly clikc on Install for me only to be able to continue

When you clicked on Install for me only you will be able to continue and the Trust1Connector will install properly

Click Install.

Click on Close. The Trust1Connector is now installed.

You have the choice to keep the disk image installer or to put it to the Bin. This choice will not affect the installation of the Trust1Connector.

Removal

To uninstall the Trust1Connector, open a terminal. Open Spotlight (top right icon or cmd + space) and type 'terminal'. Press enter and enter the following command.

~/Library/Application\ Support/Trust1Team/Trust1Connector/uninstall.sh

The Trust1Connector is now uninstalled
