Validating a document/signature(s)

There are two ways in which a document can be validated.

If the document has been signed with SimpleSign and is available in the handle tab, click the blue action button behind the document. Your document will automatically be validated and you will receive the validation report as described below.

In the validation tab you can validate if one or more digital signatures on a document are valid. You need to upload the document. Any PDF document can be validated, it does not need to be signed with SimpleSign.

Clicking on the green word “Click” will pop-up a file explorer window.

Please note that only PDF/(A) documents can be selected. These are the only type of documents that can be validated.

When you have selected the document the validation report will be generated.

If the signature(s) are valid a report with a green bar will appear.

If one or more signature(s) are invalid a report with a red bar will appear.
