Add a Policy to a Plan

What?

A plan configures the policies that are applied on a service, when the plan has been chosen upon contracting the service for a 3rd Party application. This is, all policies, configured for this plan, will be applied for requests coming from this specific application towards the contracted service.

The policies available in the scope of a plan are enlisted in the following tables (indicated with type 'P'): API Policies

  2. When it is a new plan, no policies are defined:

  3. Click Add Policy. A modal is displayed which provides the list of available policies:

  4. Select a policy. Dependent on the policy, one or more parameters are listed.

  6. You can specify the necessary parameter values.

  7. Ready? Click Add Policy

Result

A toast message informs you about the status.

The policy is now added to the plan and the policy specifications are displayed.

Next actions: you can now add more policies or Lock the Plan.

As long as the plan is not locked, you can modify the plan by adding and removing policies.

If you want to change the parameter values on a policy, remove the policy and add the policy with the correct parameter values.

In case the plan is locked, make a new version of the plan, and ensure that the policies are added with the correct parameter values.
