Deprecate a Service
What?
A service developer can deprecate a specific service version which means that application developers will no be longer be able to request new contracts, and that the service will not be displayed in the Trust1Gateway Marketplace catalog any more.
The service will however not be removed from the Gateway. All API keys pertaining to that service version will continue to function as before.
This means that when you deprecate a service, the applications which already use the service will not be impacted. This is useful if you wish to ensure new applications use a newer version of your service, without impacting existing ones.
For your information, you find the list of applications which use the service version, on the Overview tab page:

Steps
Select a service and pay attention to select the specific version which you want to deprecate.
Expand the Actions drop-down menu and select Deprecate:
Ready? Click Deprecate Service in the newly opened modal:
Result
A toast message confirms that the service is retired. The status changes to

.
When you deprecate a service, the service will no longer be displayed in the Marketplace.
This action cannot be undone, but if needed, the service can be cloned as a new version in order to republish, this will change the service URL - and thus impact dependent client implementations.
