View Service Metrics

What?

If a service has enabled a DataDog Metrics policy, requests going over the gateway towards that service are logged.

DataDog capture basic metric information, such as:

  • Total request count

  • Request count per application

  • Request count per HTTP status code (e.g. number of calls that return HTTP status code 500)

  • Latency

  • Request size

  • Response size

  • Upstream latency

  • Unique requests

The Trust1Gateway Engine queries this information and aggregates it, in order to display it in the Trust1Gateway Publisher and Marketplace.
