Create a plan
What?
A plan defines the policies which will apply to a service within an organization. For each service, one or more plans can be attached for publication in the Trust1Gateway Marketplace.
Available plans define which policy configurations can be provided for a certain service upon publication. Plans can typically define constraints upon use of a service in the context of a 3rd Party application.
A contract can be defined as a relationship between an 3rd Party application and a published REST service following a plan. The plan defines a group of constraints that are applied on each request from the application to the contracted REST service.
Multiple versions of a plan can co-exist. A plan can only be chosen on a service when the plan status is 'locked'.
As organization owner, you create and maintain the plans for the organization.
Steps
In API Publisher, select an organization and open it to see the details. For a new organization, no plans are defined yet.
Click the New Plan button. The New Plan modal is displayed:
Provide the Plan Name and Initial Version which are mandatory fields. The Plan Description is optional.
Ready? Click Create Plan.
Result
A toast message informs you that the plan is created and you can specify policies or Lock the Plan without specifying policies.
You can also create a new version of the plan.
